What is it?

The Lexus ES is a large and comfortable car. It is coming in its eighth generation and will be bigger than before. Its appearance will also be new, which will look very good.

How will Lexus ES look from outside?

The design of this new car is based on a new idea of Lexus. Its front part will be a little pointed and the rear lights will look connected to each other. The model that will run only on electricity, its front grill will be closed (as is the case in electric vehicles). But the model that will run on both petrol and electricity (hybrid), will also have a thin grill for air to pass through.

The length, width and height of the car will be bigger than before, and the distance between its wheels will also increase. This will provide more space to sit inside.

How will it be from inside?

From inside, the Lexus ES will look very simple and beautiful. It will have a large 14-inch screen on which you can listen to songs and use many controls of the car. This screen will also keep updating automatically! There will be a 12.3-inch digital meter in front of the driver, which will show the speed and other important things. The car will also have a very good Mark Levinson sound system, which will make listening to music a lot of fun.

This car will also have a special roof that can control sunlight according to its own. There will be comfortable seats for the rear passengers that can also recline and have legroom. The rear seats can also be heated and cooled, and the front doors will have windows that reduce the sound from outside. The most important thing is that this car will be the first among Lexus cars to have a new safety system (Lexus Safety System+ 4.0), which will make it even safer.

How will the engine be?

Lexus ES will come in two electric models: 350e and 550e.

  • ES 350e: It will run on the front wheels and its power will be 224.3 horsepower. It can run for about 685 kilometers on a single charge.
  • ES 550e: It will run on all four wheels and its power will be 342.6 horsepower. It can run for about 610 kilometers on a single charge.

Not much information is available about the battery yet, but it is believed that it may have a 77kWh battery like the RZ SUV.

  • Lexus ES will also come in two hybrid models: 300h and 350h. Hybrid means that it runs on both petrol and electricity.
  • ES 300h: It will have two petrol engine options: one 2.0-liter that will produce 197.1 horsepower and the other 2.5-liter that will produce 201.2 horsepower.
  • ES 350h: It will have only a 2.5-liter petrol engine, but it will be more powerful – 247.7 horsepower.

These hybrid engines will come with a special gearbox (eCVT) and can be driven by the front wheels or all four wheels.

What do you mean?

The new 2026 Lexus ES is going to be a great car. It will not only look good, but it will also be able to run on electricity, which will save petrol and keep the environment clean. There will be plenty of space to sit inside and it will also have many good features that will make the journey even more comfortable and safe. If you are waiting for a car that is comfortable, powerful and has the latest technology, then the Lexus ES 2026 could be a good option for you!

Expected Price Range

While the exact prices haven’t been announced yet, we can get an idea based on current models and the general cost of electric and hybrid cars. In India, the current Lexus ES hybrid costs around ₹64 Lakh to ₹69.70 Lakh (ex-showroom). The new hybrid versions might be a bit more. The electric models are expected to cost more than the hybrids because electric car batteries are usually expensive. So, you can expect the electric Lexus ES to have a higher starting price than the hybrid versions when they eventually go on sale. Keep an eye out for official announcements from Lexus for the exact prices closer to the car’s release.
