Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India, a major scooter manufacturer in India, has released its sales figures for April 2025. This month Honda sold a total of 4,80,896 motorcycles and scooters, including both sales in India and exports abroad. Sales figures: April 2025
Honda sold a total of 4,80,896 two-wheelers in April 2025. Last year in April 2024, the company sold 5,41,946 units, that is, this year sales decreased by 61,050 units and declined by 11.26% on an annual (YoY) basis. However, Honda sold 4,27,448 units in March 2025, compared to which 53,448 units were sold in April and there was an increase of 12.50% on a monthly (MoM) basis.
Talking about Honda’s sales in India, 4,22,931 units were sold in April 2025, which is 87.95% of the total sales. In April last year, this figure was 4,81,046, that is, there was a decrease of 58,115 units and a decline of 12.08% year-on-year. But in April, 21,520 units were sold more than 4,01,411 units in March 2025, which increased by 5.36% on a monthly basis. Honda’s highest sales are in the scooter segment, especially the demand for Activa scooter is very high.
Talking about exports, Honda shipped 57,965 units abroad in April 2025, which is 12.05% of total sales. 60,900 units were exported in April last year, that is, there was a decrease of 2,935 units and a decline of 4.82% year-on-year. But in March 2025, only 26,037 units were exported, compared to which 31,928 units were shipped in April and there was a tremendous increase of 122.63% on a monthly basis.
New updates and launches from Honda
Honda made many new updates and launches in April 2025. The company launched updated versions of Dio 125, CB350, CB350 H’ness and CB350 RS, which have been added with new features. All these models now meet BS6 Phase 2 OBD2B emission standards, which are better for the environment. Apart from this, Honda also issued a voluntary recall to fix some technical flaws in the CB300R model. This move shows how much importance Honda gives to the quality of its products and customer satisfaction.
